Ileys has the following objectives:

1. To provide social development programs such as healthcare, education, and livestock development.
2. To raise the public awareness of different social issues impacting the well-being and development of the local community.
3. To disseminate information on human and animal welfare through various media to the public, schools, community centers and other target groups.
4. To establish linkages with other institutions and organizations, locally and internationally, in matters associated with human and animal welfare.
5. To develop links with national and international organizations to foster cooperation.
6. To draw the attention of both national and international donors to the challenges faced by the communities in central Somalia regions.
7. To undertake any other activities related to local community welfare.
