Ileys Foundation (IF) is a non-governmental and not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of Somalis. Ileys, literally meaning "Light" in Somali, stands for a brighter future.

Established in February 2006, IF was conceived at a meeting held by a group of Somali professionals, both men and women who have seen the problems faced by the people in the central Somali regions. IF founders have been moved by the fact that Somalia’s central regions seem to have been neglected.
