Objectives of the organizations

Ileys foundation as local organization on ground has two types of objectives  which strategically term as short and long term objective and are as follows:

Short term objective 

·        Improve community health care

·        Create and deliver basic quality education

·        improve the quality and accessibility of drinking water

·        Support peace building and reconciliation activities through education (drama, sports, songs and poetry)

·        Promote the community awareness with regard to ownership, self-reliance, and influencing decision making process and strengthening civil society. 

·        Mobilizing the community towards the achievements of equal opportunity regardless of status or race.

·        To mobilize the grass roots for FGM eradication and HIV/AIDS protection.

·        To promote the protection of the environment and improving the sanitation status.

·        To participate and develop peace rallies in the Region and the District in particular.

·        To support the education activities through mobilization of youth to eradicate illiteracy.

Long Term Objectives

·        Create Poverty alleviation programs through small-scale food production Such as availability, stability and access to food.

·        Create Illiteracy elimination campaign through sustainable, qualitative and accessible basic education and vocational training for every gender.

·        To improve the quality and accessibility of drinking water.

·        Sustainable self-reliance, influencing decision making process, ownership, and democratization and strengthening civil society of all genders.

·        Develop the skills of Staff through training

·        To promote the awareness against human rights.
